During a recent attempt to unwind and draw my energy inward, I unexpectedly received insight about someone else in my life. This occurrence highlighted how easily our internal focus can be swayed outward. Despite our efforts to redirect our energy towards ourselves, the persistent influx of external stimuli from texts, social media, and interpersonal interactions constantly pulls our attention away.
External information isn't inherently problematic, but when we prioritize external (psychic) feedback over our intuition, we risk losing touch with our innate sense of knowing. If intuition serves as our foundation for self-awareness, it must take precedence over external influences.
It's essential to recognize the importance of maintaining a balance between internal and external inputs, ensuring that our intuition remains our guiding light amidst the noise of the outside world.
